As costly as the tickets were for the ill-fated Fyre Festival, its organizers could be facing a virtual tsunami of fines.

Per Variety, celebrity lawyer Mark Geragos has filed a $100 million lawsuit against rapper Ja Rule and his business partner, Billy McFarland, for their part in the disastrous, jet-set-targeted event that met festival-goers with extreme disorganization. Virtually nothing that was promised to ticket-holders existed on the private island in the Bahamas where the festival was to take place over a pair of weekends, beginning last Friday.

Where did that $100 million total come from? The suit is apparently predicting at least 150 plaintiffs. Per the suit, the “festival’s lack of adequate food, water, shelter, and medical care created a dangerous and panicked situation among attendees—suddenly finding themselves stranded on a remote island without basic provisions—that was closer to The Hunger Games or Lord of the Flies than Coachella.”

As RCL noted in Friday’s post, models Bella Hadid and Emily Ratajkowski helped promote the festival via the video above. It is still unclear what role the two played in the festival itself, or how much they were paid for their role in the promotion that led to the debacle. But Hadid has since posted a quasi–mea culpa on Twitter, explaining that, although she had nothing to do with Fyre Festival’s planning or “production,” that the defendants “…truly wanted all of us to have the time of our lives.” She follows that up by saying “I feel so sorry and badly because this is something I couldn’t stand by” and that had she known it would’ve been such a disaster, she would’ve told everyone.

Below, take a look at some of the tweets that came in from the festival site.
