Hope Hicks, who left her role as White House communications director back in March, has resurfaced as executive vice president and chief communications officer for Fox.
Hicks assumes the position as the new Fox takes shape in the aftermath of the selling of most of 21st Century Fox to Disney.
At the time of her departure, Hicks was one of Trump’s longest-running advisors. Her new role will give her power in an amorphous media company, figuring out an identity after selling off many of the products for which it is best known.
Along with Hicks’ new appointment, Fox also stated Monday that Danny O’Brien will join as executive vice president and head of government relations. O’Brien was previously chief of staff for Democrats Joe Biden and Robert Menendez.
