A new profile in the New York Times takes us through the last 15 years in the life of Elizabeth Banks. In the first decade of the 2000s, when Banks was solely an actor, she found herself unsatisfied and wanting more. Today, 10 years after the founding of her company Brownstone Productions, she’s a prolific producer and director, with time to spare for acting. Having brought the hit Pitch Perfect franchise to life as a producer, actor, and the director of the second movie in the series, Banks has industry clout, good enough to have several tv shows and movies in development right now. Her next project as a producer/director/actor? A Charlie’s Angels reboot.
