The National Beard and Moustache Competition Brought Out All the Hairy Freaks

Fu Manchus, handlebars and at least one faux bird beak

After making things hairy for cities like New Orleans, Portland and Brooklyn, the National Beard and Moustache Competition headed to Nashville this month for the 2016 edition of the contest.

About 250 people participated in the 7th annual competition, with 18 categories that included Dali Mustache, Goatee Natural, Musketeer, Sideburns, Verdi and Full Beard Freestyle.

Luckily, photographers like Greg Anderson were on hand to capture the accomplishments in grooming (or lack thereof).
