Fingers Crossed These Jeep Wrangler Mock-Ups Are Accurate

A good rendering is a terrible thing to waste

Car renderings and car crashes have something in common: if we see ‘em, we can’t look away.

As was the case when sketches of a new Ford Bronco leaked earlier this year, we are positively transfixed by a set of new Jeep Wrangler renderings.

Thanks to the educated guessers over at the JL Wrangler Forum, we have a slate of sketches showing what the two-door, four-door and pickup models of the 2018 Wrangler could look like.

Based on an analysis of patent filings, spy shots, insider tips and info leaks, the renderings were “modeled from real life prototypes photos and showcase both minor and major changes.”

While the forum cautions that the design changes “will be more evolutionary than revolutionary” it does point out that “under the skin” renovations to the new Wranglers’ engines will be worth getting excited about … if they ever come to fruition.

Don’t stop believing.
