Hello, FV-Frangivento Asfanè. Hello, Beautiful Insanity.

There was time when I rolled my eyes at the word “hypercar,” a nebulous term bandied about by car scribes and marques to distiguish certain vehicles from the mere ranks of the “super” or — worse still — “sports” car.

But now I understand. Because the FV-Frangivento Asfanè is no middling supercar. It’s a man-made miracle of hand-cut aluminum running on an all-electric output of 660 kW.

Unlike the concept that debuted in Bologna last year, this number from the Italian coachbuilder — which was recently spotted in the wild in Monaco — appears to be street legal. What we can say for sure is that it’s got a fancy new color scheme, wing mirrors and a windscreen you can see through.

Other than that, no one knows squat.

So, feast your eyes, ‘cause it appears we have something quite exotic on the horizon to look forward to.
