Holy Hypercar: The Bugatti Divo Has 1,500-HP, Ice in Its Veins

A leaner, meaner Chiron, available to Bugatti owners only

Much like the Oreo, America’s favorite cookie, there was nothing wrong with the Bugatti Chiron.

Sometimes people just want the Double Stuf.

Enter: the Bugatti Divo, a hypercar with a Chiron base and supremely elevated specs, selling for $5.8M a piece. Well, sold for $5.8M a piece. The automakers are only building 40, and only for existing Bugatti owners. They had no trouble pitching this auto.

And how could they — look at the damn thing. It’s got as much ice in its veins as shines off that metallic paintjob,  a vision that would wake the Chiron in a cold sweat. The Divo, named for French racing driver Albert Divo, is a dangerous, featherweight version of the Chiron, road legal but built for the race track. It can zip 0-62 in 2.4 seconds, hit a max speed of 236-MPH and creates 198-lbs more downforce than the Chiron, despite being 77 lbs lighter.

We suggest keeping your eyes peeled on the secondary market for one of these things, but until then, enjoy the view and find more information here.
