The much-lauded return of the Ford Bronco has brought with it a lot of press coverage and plenty of analysis on what Ford has riding on this revival. The new edition of the Bronco goes beyond simply being a well-built, high-performance vehicle — it’s also a de facto lifestyle brand, complete with standalone dealerships. And given the versatility of the next-gen Bronco, it isn’t hard to see the appeal of these trucks.
But if a truck is truly meant to be an extension of your personality, making your vehicle your own can go beyond all of the factory options out there. And now, Byron Hurd at Autoblog reports that the beginning of what’s likely to be a thriving aftermarket for the 2021 Broncos is here. Zone Offroad, known for their lift kits created for a wide range of trucks, just announced their first aftermarket upgrade for the 2021 Ford Bronco.
Zone Offroad offered more details on Instagram and their website. Up first is a 1″ leveling kit, available now; it’ll be followed in rapid succession by a 2″ lift kit, which can now be pre-ordered, with a shipping date slated for late July. Autoblog’s report notes that the lift kit “is only compatible with the base suspension height.”
The company indicates that there are more upgrades on the way. “These newly released upgrades are the first of a much wider range of lift kits and accessories planned,” they wrote in their announcement. For Bronco owners looking to fine-tune their car in unexpected ways, that has to be welcome news.
