You Can Watch All 30 NBA Teams in Virtual Reality This Season

There is no shortage of shiny new things to look forward to this NBA season.
Also on the list? An expansion of NBA Digital’s partnership with virtual-reality streaming service NextVR. In an expanded package that starts this season, NBA Digital and NextVR will be live-streaming 27 games in an immersive 3D VR experience. The VR viewing schedule starts October 21st when the Dallas Mavericks visit the Houston Rockets, and all 30 NBA teams will appear by season’s end.

Also new this year is a platform called the NextVR Screening Room. According to NBA Digital, the new product will let viewers immerse themselves in a 360-degree VR environment so they can watch up to 13 NBA League Pass games live on a virtual movie theater-sized screen.
