When Nike created the Joyride, the unexpectedly whimsical running sneaker with heels full of what appear to be Dippin’ Dots, the world was in a better place. You may have thought, why get these when I could buy the top-of-the-line Vaporfly NEXT%? But now that you’re probably putting in more mileage, or simply trying to enjoy running again, the Joyride may just be the gear godsend you’re looking for.
You see, the proprietary multicolored beads aren’t simply there for the fun factor (though admittedly that’s part of it) — they provide extra cushion and an overall more forgiving running experience.
