A Jet Engine Fan Would Make Your Home So Much Cooler

This'll blow 'em away

Scene from The Taming of the Appliances, a one-man show starring Bruce Willis, circa 2016:

Jet Engine Ceiling Fan: You suck.
Vacuum: You blow.
Jet Engine Ceiling Fan: Correction. I blow … hard.

That’s just a little joke we told ourselves when we saw these ceiling-mounted turbine fans from Aviation Flying Furniture, makers of seating, fans, tables and lighting from repurposed and non-airworthy plane components. The owner Kurt Eldrup spent 10 years in the U.S. Air Force and 25 years restoring classic cars and has developed a passion for creating striking centerpieces that tell a story through their material and construction.

Measuring more than three feet, the custom creations are neither small nor cheap (they run around $3,000) but they will help keep things cool if you want to host a summertime showing of Die Hard 2.
