The good thing about Black & Decker’s system is that it’s modular: Many of their tools are powered with the same 20V MAX battery. This lithium-ion battery provides holds a charge for up to 18 months.
And the Woot sale features multiple tool kits — the Cordless Combo Kit, for example, features six attachment heads that are easy to swap out for different types of projects, from drilling to sanding to cutting drywall. Add in a compact storage case, and you’ll take up a lot less room than having six separate tools that all need their own place to live.
