Whatever your opinion of his politics, Ronald Reagan has become of America’s most collectible leaders in the presidential memorabilia world. (This is partly due to the fact that he was a screen actor before his presidency, so items have crossover value.)
Christie’s is set to do a combined live and online auction from the late president and Mrs. Reagan’s private collection September 21-22, 2016. Items have pre-auction estimates from $1,000 to $50,000, with the entire collection valued at $2 million. The sale will include furniture, decorative art, books, memorabilia, jewelry, drawings, and many more items that the Reagans kept at their home in Los Angeles.
