You Need to Grab a Ticket for SF’s All-Star Dinner

Every local chef you love will be there

Make a list of every local chef you love.

You’ve got Stuart Brioza (State Bird Provisions; The Progress).

David Barzelay (Lazy Bear).

Melissa Perello (Frances and Octavia).

And Val Cantu (Californios).

They’re all contributing to the same super-luxe evening of food and sparkling wine: the James Beard Foundation’s Taste America Event, on October 27.

For your main menu, Brioza, along with his pastry chef Nicole Krasinski, will team up with Hugh Acheson of Five & Ten, from Athens, GA — James Beard Award winners all.

Meanwhile, Barzelay et al. (along with Mourad’s Mourad Lahlou and Rich Table’s Evan and Sarah Rich) contribute to the reception menu.

If you have a better way to sample the work of the city’s best chefs — impossible. Or at least time consuming.

This, though, is that rare opportunity to mix efficiency (yours) with brilliance (the participating chefs’. And yours, too.)

Get your tickets now, because they’re going fast.
