Designing the perfect home bar is an art. Some prefer to go for bar stools and draft beer, others a dignified but minimalist bar cart with top-shelf bottles and all the fixings. But if you want something both sizable and sophisticated, I’d suggest taking inspiration from Ralph Lauren’s Polo Bar.
Ralph Lauren made this easy, putting together the Kipton Mixologist Box, a leather trunk “filled with iconic pieces from the Polo Bar.” It’s also $4,000. From the Kipton line, there’s the branded brass cocktail strainer and silver-plated brass Champagne bucket. Elsewhere, we like the Cantwell Cocktail Shaker wrapped in saddle leather and the matching Cantwell Decanter, or the Paxton Boston Shaker if you like to show off your bartending skills. The equestrian paintings, however, are up to you to acquire.
