If you’ve ever dreamt of driving a kitted-out adventure van around the country, taking Nat Geo-worthy photos and racking up social media cred along the way, here’s a competition worth entering.
In what he’s calling the Ultimate Storyteller Contest, photographer Travis Burke is giving away his personal adventure van, $6K in gear from GoPro, Big Agnes, Black Diamond and more, and finally, a one-on-one mentorship with Mr. Van Life himself, whose photos have been published in National Geographic, Men’s Journal, Backpacker and more.
There are three categories: Photo, Video and Written Story, each with their own specific submission guidelines. The one that applies across the board: tell him how this will change your life.
Participants get a free $75 print from Travis Burke, so just like at playtime in grade school, “everyone wins.” Unfortunately, the contest is only available to U.S. and Canadian residents, excluding those in Connecticut, Arizona, Iowa and Quebec. Full entry rules here.
