In recent years, Bob Dylan has been involved with a foray into whiskey in one of the locations most associated with the liquor in question — namely, Kentucky. That doesn’t mean that the legendary musician and Nobel Prize recipient doesn’t have a foothold in some other places also associated with whisk(e)y, such as — say — Scotland. Turns out Dylan is the owner of a very spacious home there as well, though potentially not for long.

As Ultimate Classic Rock reports, Dylan’s Scottish home is now up for sale. In 2006, Dylan and his brother David purchased the property, known as Aultmore House, for just over $2.5 million. It’s now back on the market, with an asking price of roughly $3.9 million. That’ll get you 16 bedrooms, 11 bathrooms and an array of features including a croquet lawn — all on around 25 acres of land.

The estate itself is located in Nethy Bridge, a small village in northern Scotland. According to the listing for the property, the estate contains 18,357 square feet of space, including multiple outbuildings and no less than four reception rooms.

The estate’s location within Cairngorms National Park also makes for some especially scenic views, as well as the prospect of a full immersion within nature. (Possibly the perfect ingredient for writing a Dylan-esque folk song of your own.) That said, it’s also not that removed from urban life — the closest airport is in Inverness, a 45-minute drive away.
