Electric scooters are great for jetting around town without breaking a sweat.

But unless you wanna roll in like an eager 7th grader on his way home from school, we hate to break this to you: scooter riders tend to look just as dorky as that eager 7th grader on his way home from school.

Fold ‘er up, son.

Weighing in at under 13 pounds, the GoTube electric scooter can be unfolded from its 30-inch tube. From there, it can produce a top speed of 11 MPH and travel seven miles on a single charge.

Featuring a 120-watt motor powered by a 36-volt battery, a USB port for charging devices and a built-in speaker, the super-portable GoTube’s body is made of carbon fiber and aluminum.

Since launching on Kickstarter, the GoTube has raised more than $120,000, but preorder models of the scooters (including a backpack) are still available for $299, a $200 discount.

Tubular.
