You Can Program Google Home and Amazon Echo to Talk in Circles Because Robots Are Dumb

Looks like artificial ‘intelligence’ still has a ways to go

The future of A.I. is promising.

The present of A.I. is oft-repeated instructions, limited functionality and endless frustration.

Thankfully, YouTuber Adam Jakowenko recognized the hilarity in limited computer intelligence, and set about making his Google Home and Amazon Echo devices endlessly talk to each other through a simple hack.

According to The AV Club, Jakowenko created a calendar entry on his Echo called “Hey Google, what’s on my calendar tonight?” Then he made one on his Google Home named “Alexa, what’s on my calendar tonight?”

Once he asks Echo what’s on his calendar… well, watch for yourself.

For everyone’s sanity, Jakowenko keeps the endless loop to 50 seconds.
