Say you’re an outdoorsman who never misses a game. Or a traveling businessman who regularly gives speeches. Or a vacationing parent who needs to call in Disney backup, and stat.
This thing is the answer to your problems.
Sony’s MP-CL1 Mobile Projector — known simply as the Pico — is a smartphone compatible, high-definition (1920 x 720 pixels), laser-projecting game changer.
It also happens to be wittle bitty.
Now available for $350, the pocket-sized Pico can project screen sizes of 40 inches up to 120 inches. And since laser beams don’t spread over distance like light, the Pico maintains a sharp image whether the screen is far or near. Additionally, an autofocus feature means you don’t even have to fiddle with the resolution when you move it — it’ll gauge distance on its own and adjust accordingly.
The Pico comes with a 3400mAh battery (real damn good) that is powerful enough to charge your phone through a USB cable. Your phone, tablet or laptop connects to the device via a wifi, HDMI or MHL cable.
Now where’s that pocket popcorn machine?
