Harvey Weinstein made an appearance at a Manhattan event for young actors Wednesday night, leading multiple guests to confront the man accused of the sexual assault of dozens of women.
Weinstein was at the Downtime Bar on the Lower East Side for an event called Actors Hour when three attendees called him out, Gothamist reported.
According to Zoe Stuckless, an attendee who detailed the incident in a Facebook post, comedian Kelly Bachman was the first to call attention to Weinstein, calling out “the elephant in the room” during her set. Bachman was reportedly booed after joking, “I didn’t realize I needed to bring my own mace and rape whistle to Actors Hour.”

In the Facebook post, Stuckless said they were thrown out of the bar after confronting Weinstein. “He was sitting there, allowed to laugh and clap and drink and flirt and no one was saying anything,” Stuckless wrote. “The more I sat there the more furious I was at all of our inaction.”
Another attendee, Amber Rollo, also confronted Weinstein after seeing Stuckless’ interaction with Weinstein.
“Then I went in and called him a fucking monster and told him he should disappear,” Rollo wrote in a Twitter thread. “His friend/body guard/goon/family member called me a cunt and I really really wanted to lunge over the table and strangle him.”
***TW Sexual Assault***
Hey everyone. You might have seen my tweet about cursing out Harvey Weinstein last night. As a rape survivor I'm so furious and sad and frustrated.
Here is a thread about what happened.

Rollo added that she was escorted out by a woman seated at Weinstein’s table. ” I don’t know who she is but I hope she is ok,” Rollo wrote.
A Weinstein spokesperson gave a statement to TMZ Thursday, saying, “Harvey Weinstein was out with friends enjoying the music and trying to find some solace in his life that has been turned upside down. This scene was uncalled for, downright rude and an example of how due process today is being squashed by the public, trying to take it away in the courtroom too.”
