Campers access the estate via a private airfield; from there, guests are shuttled to one of 30 tented suites, each with views of the reserve below — home to Africa’s “Big Five” (lions, elephants, rhinos, cape buffalo and leopards) as well as your kids’ favorite new animals: giraffes and zebras. Head out into the bush on morning game drives (now with in-car charging stations) or post-breakfast safaris. Guests can travel by jeep or by foot, all under the watchful gaze of Angama trackers and guides.

Want more? Take a hot-air balloon ride. Still more? Grab your camera for a tour with a photography expert. Haven’t had enough? Meet Maasai people, schedule a massage, work out in the gym, read Out of Africa in the library…However you spend your time, you aren’t going to want to go home.
