Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry broke team records while tying an all-time great during Thursday night’s win against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Henry had a 99-yard touchdown run in the second quarter, which tied Dallas Cowboys Hall of Fame running back Tony Dorsett for the longest run in NFL history, before finishing off his evening with a franchise-record 238 yards and four touchdowns.
The RB said was keeping the record-setting ball he rushed into the end zone — something Dorsett didn’t get to do — and seemed thrilled at the prospect of being in the same conversation as the former Cowboy.
“I’m keeping this ball,” Henry said, according to ESPN. “I got to spend a lot of time with him (Tony Dorsett) when I was at the Heisman. He’s a legend. It’s cool to be in that company with Tony Dorsett.”
The feeling appeared mutual when Dorsett later tweeted Henry a message of congratulations.

Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota called Henry’s run “incredible” after the game.
“It was incredible. There is nothing like it,” Mariota said. “It looked like he got bottled up, and then he found his way out of it. Once that guy gets into the open field, he’s so hard to bring down. It’s a treat to watch.”
