Well, that put a dent in things.

One rowdy fan took the Boston Red Sox postseason slogan, “Do Damage,” a little too literally.

A beer can was launched so hard during Wednesday’s World Series Championship parade in Boston that it collided with the Commissioner’s Trophy and took a few of its golden flags with it.

The unknown assailant was among the many drunken fans — some of whom reveled in the Halloween holiday and came to the parade in costume — who were tossing around cold ones, despite their team’s apparent annoyance.

Red Sox manager Alex Cora’s duck boat was pelted by what looked like an open can, soaking him and his daughter in foamy liquid.

Drunken fans are typically a staple at championship parades as are beers, which, if caught by the players, are drunk on the floats. Several paradegoers were arrested for their sloppy celebrations.
