Two NBA seasons ago, Kevin Durant made the best team in the league even better when he joined the Golden State Warriors as a free agent.

Now, the two-time NBA champ may have interest in joining another stacked California team — the Los Angeles Rams.

On Sunday, Durant posted an Instagram message praising LA defensive tackle Aaron Donald and joked (we think) about joining the Rams.

However, the remark was noteworthy enough to get LA coach Sean McVay talking about adding the 6-foot-9 NBA star.

“I bet he’d be pretty dangerous in the red zone on some of those jump balls,” McVay said. “If he thinks about wanting to do that, we’ll welcome him. He can come kick it with us anytime he wants.”

Whether or not that’s a serious offer, the Rams may not need Durant as they are undefeated and coming off a 34-0 thrashing of the Arizona Cardinals.
