John Daly rated the four presidents that he has played golf with: Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and George H.W. Bush. Out of all of them, Daly told USA Today that George H.W. Bush was probably the best. With Trump, there is no cheating, because it’s “impossible to do so.” Daly said that when he and Trump go out, they don’t talk golf or politics, they just “go out and have a good time.” They don’t even keep score, they just talk about family and “stuff like that.” When Daly needs to relax, he said he plays with a group of friends in Florida or some of the Tour players who are also down there. As for the other presidents, Daly said, “(Bill) Clinton couldn’t play at all — Clinton was Mr. Mulligan — but I think Bush Sr. was probably the best that I played with. (George W.) Bush was OK. Just not quite as good as (his dad) was.”
