According to multiple reports, the NFL will suspend Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ quarterback Jameis Winston for the first three games of the season for violating the league’s personal conduct policy.

The suspension stems from an alleged incident two years ago in Arizona during which Winston is accused of groping the crotch of a female Uber driver while he was a passenger in her car.

Following the alleged incident, which occurred at a drive-thru at a Mexican restaurant, the driver filed a formal complaint with Uber and Winston’s riding privileges were subsequently revoked.

Winston has denied the allegations and no police charges were filed, but the driver did talk to BuzzFeed about what happened because she wanted to reveal the truth “about a powerful man who felt entitled to my body when all I wanted to do was my job.”

The NFL has not notified Winston about the suspension yet and he can always appeal it.

If it does hold up and Winston is sidelined, the Bucs will be forced to roll out quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick, who went 2-1 last season when he was forced to start when Winston was injured.
