I think we can all agree that 2016 was a dark year.
We've got high hopes for 2017, however. Mostly because every month is going to be a Nu Muse month. And you're gonna like Nu Muse months.
Like the Pirelli calendar before it, the 2017 Nu Muses Calendar has but one goal: to celebrate the female form, and in the, ahem, most natural state possible.
Sold in three Tiers — $20K, $10K and $1K — these limited-edition calendars aren’t meant for the garage or the desk drawer. Tier One comes as a set of 24 signed and numbered photographs, printed on cotton rag, fine art satin and presented in a leather and linen handcrafted box floating on a sculptural Lucite stand.
With this level of elegance, you should feel fine displaying the calendar in your living room without getting nasty looks from your company.
You can learn more about the other Tiers here, but the main event is the same at every level: 12 stunning women, as shot by photographer David Bellemere at the Casa Kimball in the Dominican Republic. Using classic '70s Pirelli Calendars for inspiration, Bellemere and partner Steve Shaw (the publisher of Treats!) have set out to elevate the nudity to an art form.
They plan to formally debut the calendar next month at Art Basel in Miami.
We've got an exclusive sneak peek below, and it is decidedly NSFW. You've been warned.
