Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen’s fashion outpost The Row (named for London’s tailoring Mecca, Savile Row) just dropped its first men’s collection. Jackets, jeans, belts, sunglasses, cardholders and more make up the 38-piece line of highest-end duds. It’s available now on Mr Porter, and definitely deserves a look.
Full dislcaimer: this stuff will burn a massive hole in your wallet. You could fill five or six drawers with Uniqlo outfits before matching the prices on a couple of these jackets.
But that’s nothing The Row doesn’t know. It took two years to research and wear-test this collection, and the materials used divulge that patience. Expect Super 180s wool from Japan, supple suede from Italy and cashmere out the wazoo. You’re not shopping for beat-em-up pieces, you’re adding statement garments you’ll reliably pull out every year. And ones comfy as all get-out, we might add.
