Here’s What McLaren’s Next Supercar Will Look Like

Social media leaks (like, say, the passwords of high-ranking government officials), are usually a bad thing.

But every once in a while, the gods of the internet share some leaked-secret mana from social media heaven that turns out to be very, very good.

What you see above is the first look at the McLaren 720S (aka the P14), an addition to the marque’s Super Series that wasn’t supposed to be seen until the Geneva Auto Show in March. While we don’t know much about the car other than that it looks like a million bucks (and may cost that), we do know it’ll have an aerodynamic carbon fiber frame, a twin-turbocharged V8 capable of producing around 720 HP — hence the name — and a fighting weight of about 3,000 pounds.

Based on what other Super Series models can do (see below), our hopes are high for the 720S.
