You know it. I know it. Clinical psychologists know it, because they know you spend time in bed texting, emailing and Facebooking instead of, y’know, snoozing.
But just because you shouldn’t sleep with your iPhone doesn’t mean you can’t sleep with an iBed.
Luna has two parts: 1) a fitted sheet that interacts with your body while you sleep and 2) a corresponding smartphone app that computes those interactions to help you sleep (and wake up) more effectively.
It can warm your side of the bed (up to 86 degrees) or keep it cool.
It tracks your sleeping patterns and biometrics — heart rate, breathing, sleep phases. No straps or bands needed.
And Luna works with pretty much any WiFi-enabled device (Nest, WeMo, Lockitron, etc.) to automate morning tasks.
It can turn on your lights as you leave the bed. It can turn off your TV and lock the door once you fall asleep. It can even start your coffee maker when you wake up.
Oh, and it’s machine washable, too.
