Each week, our inbox runneth over with news of gear, apparel and tech releases from around the world. In this feature, we’ll parse through the best of them. Today: A Fred Perry x G. H. Bass Weejun capsule, a limited edition pocket knife and a new direct to consumer AC brand.
Noah Thank You Core Logo Tee
At first glance this looks like Noah’s classic logo tee, but this limited-edition version of their bestseller features a special “Thank You” message on the back — with a cute red heart replacing the ‘O’ in you. 100 percent of proceeds from the tee went to Direct Relief, a nonprofit that works to lend medical resources to those affected by poverty or emergency situations. While the tee has sold out, Noah was able to raise $65,000 for the organization.

Men’s HOKA x OV Clifton
The HOKA x OV Clifton, if you’re unfamiliar, is an award-winning, light-as-a-feather running shoe packed with marshmallow-like cushioning to make sure your feet stay content while you rack up those miles — and it is now available in sharp-looking Silver. Outdoor Voices launched their version of the Clifton back in April 2018 in collaboration with Hoka One One and has had a difficult time keeping them in stock. We definitely don’t foresee the silver sticking around for long.
Keith Haring Jigsaw Puzzle
Try not to lose your shit while working on this 500-piece black and white puzzle featuring the iconic illustrations of Pop artist Keith Haring. Seriously this looks hard as hell, but makes for a nice piece of art if you can finish it.
1966 Japan 501
You might think all denim is the same, but not every iteration of the fabric is made equal. Japanese selvedge denim, for example, is the creme de la creme, due to its extreme durability (meaning it’ll never risk fraying) and will conform to your body over time, making for a pair of jeans that only you can wear. Now Levi’s is delving into their own Japanese selvedge denim archives for a limited-edition version of their classic 501s. The jean will also feature other classic detailing, like the red tag and back patch and other packaging all in Japanese. The pair marks a return to, and celebration of, the brand’s shrink-to-fit fabrics being manufactured in Japan.
PUMA x THE HUNDREDS Clyde Men’s Sneakers
High school cliques suck, but that doesn’t mean one can’t glean inspiration from them, especially if they’re cliques from the 90s. That’s exactly where Puma and The Hundreds drew inspiration from for their latest collaboration featuring t-shirts, windbreakers, hats and, of course, sneakers, all inspired by the jocks and preps of yesteryear. Even if you considered yourself an outcast during your teenage years, you can now finally be apart of the clique. Just don’t be a dick.
Aukey Omnia Mix 65W Dual-Port PD Charger
For those of us not blessed with an actual “home office,” working from home often means continually shifting one’s setup. Moving from couch to kitchen table to (in the case of at least one InsideHook staffer) child’s bunk bed according to our work rhythms or to get some quiet for a Zoom call, having one’s various electronic doodads charged and at the ready is important. Thus we are thankful for the folks at Aukey for their suite of wall charging blocks that will gas up a smartphone or computer in a fraction of the time of a standard charger, even when you’ve got more than one device plugged in.
Air Jordan 5 Retro
Maybe you’re suffering from MJ overload these days. Or maybe, like us, you’re a 41-year-old who’s trying to figure out if you can pull off this somewhat divisive shoe. We honestly have no idea if you can, but we think you should try anyway.
Concepts X Showtime BILLIONS
Concepts launched their first collaboration with Showtime Networks Inc. on their acclaimed drama Billions on Friday, and it’s already sold out. The collection featured a limited-edition co-branded apparel collection of hoodies and tee’s, adorned with iconic scenes from past Billions episodes.
