Häagen-Dazs Just Dropped Seven Boozy Ice Cream Flavors

It's the perfect pint

Introducing the true perfect pint.

Häagen-Dazs has officially released its Spirits Collection — seven new ice cream flavors, each infused with its own boozy mix. Flavors range from Stout Chocolate Pretzel Crunch (Stout, toasted malt, chocolate covered pretzels), to Rum Tres Leches (white Rum, dulce de leche, chunks of Tres Leches cake).

We’re most excited for Irish Cream Cookie Squares, but we wouldn’t mind sampling the lot. Each of these servings, by the way, contains less than 0.5% ABV, which means (in most states), anyone can walk into a store and buy it. The full collection will be rolled out in grocery stores nationwide by April, though many Häagen-Dazs ice cream shops should be able to meet your craving immediately.

One word of caution: while boozy ice cream won’t get you drunk, it can definitely get you sick. I spent a lovely hour at Prohibiton Creamery in Austin last October eating chocolate ice cream infused with whiskey and topped in bourbon whipped cream. And I spent the night on the toilet. Be smart, and if nursing a break-up, lay-off or just a bad day … stick to the non-alcoholic stuff.
