Steve Carell, Bryan Cranston and Laurence Fishburne embark on a painful road trip in the official trailer for Richard Link’s new movie, Last Flag Flying. Based on the novel of the same name by Darryl Ponicsan, the story centers on Carell’s character, whose son has died while serving abroad. Wanting his friends to accompany him to the funeral — they are veterans themselves — the trailer reveals the ensemble cast reuniting on a darkly comedic journey to lay a young man to rest, and begin healing themselves along the way. Directed by Richard Linker, the film will premiere at the New York Film Festival on Sept. 28, and will enter select theaters Nov. 3. Take a look at the trailer above.
