If you had to spend $1.6 million on one thing, what would you do with it? State-of-the-art supercar? High-end second home? Art collection? Endow a chair at a college or university? Yacht?

Or would you do what Post Malone did, and spend $1.6 million on diamond-encrusted teeth?

This news comes via Page Six, in an article which relayed the news that Thomas Connelly recently posted a photo on Instagram of Post Malone reveling in a $1.6 million “epic ICE smile.”

Connelly offered some specifics on the work Malone had done. According to him, Malone now has “natural Porcelain Veneer work framed with 2 Diamond Fangs with a total weight of 12 Carats” residing in his mouth. Connelly’s Instagram profile hails him as “The Father of Diamond Dentistry,” and includes photos of work he’s done for the likes of Travis Barker and Shaquille O’Neal.

Also, based on the gym photos he’s posted on Instagram, Connelly is just absurdly ripped. You might not associate “dentist to the stars” with “could reasonably compete in the World’s Strongest Man” competition, but after you look at these, you might.

Connelly wasn’t the only expert who contributed to Malone’s new look. Also involved in the procedure were cosmetic dentist Naoki Hayashi, Bichachi Diamonds and Angel City Jewelers. As for how this will affect the capybara meme, it’s too soon to say.
