We admittedly know nothing about meth, but this figure seems a bit higher than street value.
Walter White’s five-lb. bag of “Blue Sky” meth from Breaking Bad is expected to fetch more than $2,000 at “TV Treasures,” a newly announced auction by pop-culture memorabilia house Prop Store.
Featuring 400+ TV-related artifacts from the archives of noted collector James Comisar, who owns what Forbes once called “the world’s greatest collection of television memorabilia,” the auction also includes:
- The bat shield from Adam West’s Batman, expected to fetch over $500,000
- Mork’s egg spaceship from Mork & Mindy ($20K+)
- The Grecian toga worn by Captain Kirk in the original Star Trek series — most notable because it’s the costume William Shatner was wearing when he kissed Lt. Uhura, marking one of television’s first (and certainly most famous) interracial kisses ($60k+)
Plus, Howard Stern’s Fartman costume from the 1992 MTV VMAs, Laura Palmer’s red aluminum casket from Twin Peaks, and a ton of X-Files related treasures, from alien medical tables to an “acid-burned male head.”
The auction takes place December 1st, both at Prop Store in Valencia, California, and online.
