Golfer Tiger Woods has been charged with driving under the influence, WPTV is reporting.
Woods, who is a resident of Jupiter Island in Florida, was reportedly taken into custody at 3 a.m. on Monday morning.
The 41-year-old golfer, who spent 683 weeks at No. 1 in his sport, has fallen on hard times in recent years between injuries and an ugly divorce that cost him a number of lucrative endorsements.
WPTV is reporting that Woods was released at 10:50 a.m.
