Despite being threatened with financial ruin for continuing to violate a non-disclosure agreement, adult film star and director Stormy Daniels appeared Sunday night on CBS’ ’60 Minutes’ to talk with journalist Anderson Cooper and “set the record straight” about her alleged affair with Donald Trump in 2006. Over the course of the 25-minute segment, Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, described what she called a completely consensual sexual encounter with the former real estate mogul — and what she called threats of physical violence from his associates when she tried to tell her story.

“I was in a parking lot, going to a fitness class with my infant daughter,” Clifford said recounting an interaction she said took place in 2011, after she initially agreed to tell her story to a magazine. “A guy walked up on me and said to me, “Leave Trump alone. Forget the story.” And then he leaned around and looked at my daughter and said, “That’s a beautiful little girl. It’d be a shame if something happened to her mom.” And then he was gone.”
