Prince Charles was the Royal Family’s biggest spender last year, Town & Country is reporting. According to public documents — which the family is required to release once a year — Prince Charles’ trip to India, Malaysia, Brunei and Singapore in fall 2017 cost approximately $475,000. That’s significantly higher than the year’s second most expensive trip, which rang in at $90,000.
The documents note that Prince Charles’ income from the Duchy of Cornwall funds both his private and official expenditure, as well as any expenditures coming from The Duchess of Cornwall, who was also on the trip with him to Southeast Asia.
