Even if for some reason you don’t like first two components of a new promotion — eating pizza and watching college sports — we damn near guarantee you’ll dig the third one: cold, hard cash.
Thanks to a new partnership with the NCAA, Pizza Hut is looking to fill its new All-American position, a job that requires one to attend as many of the 90 Division I NCAA championship events as possible while sharing photos and insights about the experience on social media.
In addition to watching events like the College World Series and the Frozen Four, the job entails attending the championship events for lesser-publicized sports like archery, golf and water polo.
The job pays $50,000 for about seven months of work (November 14th through June 30th) and likely comes with perks like rides in Pizza Hut delivery vehicles and as much pizza as you want.
Even though he once opted to get a Grand Slam at Denny’s rather than eat pizza with LeBron and D-Wade after winning the title with the Heat, Pizza Hut enlisted the help of former NCAA and NBA champion basketball player Shane Battier to help with the selection process.
“To have a chance to be part of all of these championships is pretty special,” Battier said. “I’m looking forward to seeing what kind of candidates are out there.”
If you think you’ve got what it takes to be the big cheese, get cracking on your application.
