A ritzy hotel in Paris is not where one would expect to find a dinosaur skull.

Binoche et Giquello, an auctioneer based in France, staged a showcase of (pre)historic proportions at the Drouot auction house on Tuesday.

The centerpiece of the sale, which also included a number of fossils, corals, minerals, and meteorites, was the skull of a Triceratops, believed to be several million years old. It sold for $188,000. (Watch a video of it being delivered to the auction house below.)

Also sold during the auction of oddities was a rare meteorite from the Campo del Cielo in Argentina ($39,000), a stuffed tiger ($20,000), and fossilized fish on a plate from Brazil ($3,700).
