Disgraced former TODAY show host Matt Lauer put his Upper East Side apartment up for sale in March, and Page Six is reporting that it officially went into contract last week. Located at 133 East 64th Street, it sold for more than $7 million. The apartment also requires paying a nearly $8,000 a month maintenance fee.
This apartment is reportedly the same one where NBC chairman Andy Lack told Lauer he was being let go from the network over allegations of pervasive sexual misconduct, including details involving a button he reportedly had installed under his desk that locked Lauer’s office door when pressed.
Lauer, who is currently going through a divorce from his wife, Annette Roque, has also sold his Hamptons home for $12.75 million, Page Six reports.
