An Alabama man is being hunted by police for attempting to rob a Waffle House — without his pants on.

Tuscumbia police told the Times Daily that 27-year-old Glenn Bost is being sought on criminal mischief and burglary charges after he got away from the restaurant’s patrons who tried to detain him.

Bost allegedly tied the Waffle House’s bathroom door shut with his pants before climbing through the ceiling towards the manager’s office with the intent of robbing it. The alleged thief fell through the ceiling, however, and his abandoned pants held his wallet and driver’s license.

Police reportedly believe there’s a possibility the underwear-clad bandit may have been under the influence of drugs.
