After talking heads across various cable news networks theorized that something “ happened to Rudy Giuliani” since his days as the post-9/11 mayor of New York City, Last Week Tonight host John Oliver says that nothing has changed. Giuliani had an “abrasive personal style” when he was mayor, a characteristic he’s kept as the newest addition to the president’s legal team.
“People seem to be as shocked at finding out who Giuliani really is, as a child at Disney World who accidentally saw Mickey Mouse pull off his head to reveal that he was actually Tilda Swinton,” Oliver joked. “‘Not only are you not what I thought you were a moment ago, you are f-cking terrifying!’”
