During an appearance on Stephen Colbert’s Late Show Wednesday night, CNN Chief White House Correspondent Jim Acosta told the comedian that none of his colleagues in the White House Press Corps are the “enemy of the people,” as the president has referred to many of them.
“We’re all fed up with the treatment we’re receiving,” Acosta said. And when it comes to the sentiment of the American people disparaging the news media, Acosta said: “These folks are focused on the coverage of the president’s behavior more so than they are [on] the president’s behavior.”
