Guns N’ Roses called it an early night at Sunday’s show in Abu Dhabi after a “severely ill” Axl Rose was unable to finish the set.

“I’ve been throwing up for about the last five hours,” Rose told the crowd at the beginning of the evening, according to Variety. “So instead of canceling I’m gonna do the best show we can for you.”

“Abu Dhabi, you guys were f-cking great tonight!” Slash wrote. “Axl was severely ill. But you all were hugely supportive. Thanks for that. We’ll see again next time! Cheers!”

The group is towards the end of their multi-year reunion tour, which began in 2016.
