Going to the ballet used to be a chore.
But thanks to Drake, that may soon change.
During a pop-up performance this weekend in Houston, the Canadian hip-hop star announced plans for The Ballet, a “new dance experience” (read: gentleman’s club) opening in Houston next year.

“There’s a culture out here of dancing — not about no strip club sh** — this Houston culture,” he told the crowd at the Toyota Center, promising a “different take on how it should be done.”
The Ballet marks another new, non-musical side project for the “Hotline Bling” star, who earlier this released an American whiskey (not repping his homeland of Canada — a missed opportunity). He later explained his strip club 2.0 concept on Instagram: “Tonight is a different take on how it should be done in Houston,” he wrote. “Treat yourself don’t cheat yourself. Where the women are on a pedestal and the surroundings are unforgettable.”
At the very least, it seems more elevated than the Cheesecake Factory.
The Ballet will open in 2017.
