As of now, seven advertisers have said they pulled their ads from Laura Ingraham’s Fox News Channel program, including some that have said pulled since Ingraham apologized to Parkland shooting survivor David Hogg. She said she apologized “in the spirit of Holy Week.” The first company to pull ads was Nutrish, Rachel Ray’s pet-food company. They issued a statement saying, “We are in the process of removing our ads from Laura Ingraham’s program.” Hogg tweeted out a thank you to the company after the statement’s release.

TripAdvisor has also pulled ads, explaining, “In our view, these statements focused on a high school student, cross the line of decency.” Other companies include Wayfair, Expedia, Nestle, Jos A Bank, and Hulu. Ingraham originally mocked Hogg getting rejected by some colleges he applied to.

She later apologized after he tweeted back, saying “#ShutUpAndBeObjective.”

Hogg is among many Parkland students who are advocating for more gun control measures after a former student with a semi-automatic rifle killed 17 people in his school. He has said he will only accept her apology if she denounced “the way your network has treated my friends and I in this fight.”
