"I like the idea of being a spy," Harrier told Elle in a recent interview.

Laura Harrier may have starred as Peter Parker’s love interest in Spiderman: Homecoming, but the actress recently told Elle that she’d love to remake James Bond — and not as a supporting character.

“For a while, I was like I want to be a Bond girl, which I would still like to do, but now I’m like f-ck that, I can be James Bond,” Harrier said. “I like the idea of being a spy and that sometimes heroes can be anti-heroes. His character is kind of sh-tty—it’s not like he’s the good guy. I like heroes and characters that are kind of more layered and not the good guy or the bad guy and I think he’s good at that.”

She’s also familiar with being the center of attention — especially online. Harrier recently posted a PSA on her Instagram account about proper etiquette for direct messaging her, and that etiquette expressly excludes any lewd photographs.

“I’ve slid into a few,” Harrier admitted, telling Elle she’s privately messaged people she’s interested in on social media. “I’m not mad at people sliding in my DMs, just be cute and respectful. Say something nice and witty. I’m not mad at DM sliding but it is all about timing.”
