The Ferrari F50 Poster You Had as a Teen? That EXACT Car Is on Sale.

Michael Jordan, however, will not be returning your calls

They say never meet your heroes. But they never said anything about driving them.

Ferrari’s most recognizable ambassador, the Red Delicious-hued Ferrari F50 first revealed to the public at the Geneva Auto Show in 1995, is officially available for purchase. Serial #99999, the Ferrari was the last of the brand to ever have a five-digit serial number, and as a prototype, the first of the paradigmatic F50s.

Listed by Long Island-based Autosport Designs, the F50 is in good condition, with only 1,400 miles logged against its 4.7-liter V12 engine. And those miles were as badass as they come, from test drivers like Dario Benuzzi and Niki Lauda zipping the car around the Fiorano Circuit. That history, plus its ubiquity from years of appearing front and center in press releases, makes it as desirable an add to the driveway as one can think up.

Inquire here for the price of this bad boy … but brace yourself. It sold for $1.7M when it last changed hands in 2013. We recommend heading here for this rad, age-appropriate F50 poster if looking to save a few bucks.
